Retribution Takes Over WWE Twitter Account

WWE hasn’t exactly been shy about the former identities of Retribution. Mustafa Ali has taken Dominik Dijakovic, Shane Thorne, Dio Maddin, and Mia Yim and turned them into T-Bar, Slapjack, Mace, and Reckoning respectively and has now used their social media to confirm those former identities and use their frustrations to explain their decisions to become Retribution.

Earlier today on the WWE Twitter account, Retribution made it known they had “hacked” the account, suddenly RT’ing messages from the member’s individual accounts in addition to the account that was used for the SmackDown hacker, a thread now officially tied to Mustafa Ali.

Using the new Stories feature on Twitter, a feature similar to Instagram’s story feature, Retribution acknowledged many things about their former identities and even clips of them in their former personas. Reckoning acknowledged the “please sign Mia!” chants she had received, Mace recalled his brief stint at the Raw announce desk being ended by an attack from Brock Lesnar, Slapjack talking about how his stint as Shane Thorne left him a “broken man,” while T-Bar discussed feeling betrayed by a friend and a mentor while visions of Keith Lee and Triple H respectively showed up as he referenced friend and mentor.

You can follow the account to see the stories, which will no doubt help add to the lore of the faction.
