NXT has quietly seen their talent called up a lot over the last year. While some arrive with much fanfare like Keith Lee or Riddle, others show up without being promoted in vignettes like Angel Garza and Austin Theory.
And others seem to be stuck in limbo.
Chelsea Green has been in this position, having been one of the stars Paul Heyman called up during his tenure as Executive Director of Raw. We mentioned that among the names he asked to get called up during that time was Dominik Dijakovic, Vanessa Borne, and Arturo Ruas. Fightful Select has now reported that among those names as well was Santana Garrett.
They have reported she was called up “this summer” but outside a main roster appearance in July, she has yet to be used.
Garrett, like Green and Borne, had been rumored to be part of Retribution before they settled on who would be in the faction, and they still have yet to be used on air. While it’s still unknown if they were playing roles in early Retribution attacks, many people are still guessing who was used during that period of time. In the meantime, Garrett remains waiting for a return to action like Green and others waiting for creative to find something for them.
