Paul Heyman is no stranger to wearing several hats while working for the WWE. Now Roman Reigns’ special counsel might be wearing another one on a regular basis.
When Xavier Woods was drafted to Raw as part of the recent WWE Draft, Kayla Braxton was left without a co-host for Taking Smack. Since then, she’s had a revolving door of talent next to her like Sami Zayn. This week’s Talking Smack had Heyman in the co-host chair, and something he said gave people an indication that Heyman could be in the role for a while.
“Ladies and gentleman, my name is Paul Heyman and I serve as special counsel to the reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. And so someone can keep Kayla on the straight and narrow, I now serve the public as your co-host of Talking Smack because Kayla, from what I can see has been talking smack just a little too much lately.”
Heyman is no stranger to hyperbole, so it’s possible Heyman was using it to introduce himself for that specific episode, but Heyman on the show could certainly add to any storyline they progress on the program with his skills.
