Lio Rush is certainly looking to make the most of his career since his release from the WWE. He has found himself releasing music and now it seems Lio Rush is hitting Hollywood.
In an interview with Wrestling Inc, Rush revealed he has been cast in the upcoming Power Rangers inspired “Legend of the White Dragon” film, featuring members of the original Power Rangers series. When asked about his role, Rush said that he had no idea who he would play and the film is still casting.
“It is actually a Power Rangers movie, so it’s kung fu times 100. They’re still casting. I’m just part of the cast. We haven’t gotten who’s going to be who yet, but I will be in the movie. There’s a chance [I could be a Power Ranger].”
Rush is definitely keeping himself busy in the wrestling world as well. It was recently revealed he is part of MLW’s Restart and he was announced for New Japan’s Super J-Cup tournament coming up in December. If you’re a Lio Rush fan, you’ll have plenty of chances to find him doing something.
