Card and Brackets for NJPW’s Super J-Cup Revealed.

On November 2nd NJPW surprised fans with the announcement of the Super J Cup, which would be held exclusively in the USA, set to kick off on December 12th. The one night event has now revealed the first round matches and bracket, as well as announcing the return to action for NJPW Young Lion Ren Nartia on excursion at the LA Dojo.

Clark Conners Vs Chris Bey

Former IMPACT Wrestling X Division champion Chris Bey will be making his first ever appearance for NJPW, the young sensation has been wowing IMPACT wresting fans who will no doubt be cheering him on. He’ll be facing off against LA Dojo young lion Clark Connors, Connors has an incredible ground and submission game and will no doubt be hoping to ground the high flying Bey, as he looks to use this tournament to make an impression on the LA Dojo coaches.

ACH Vs TJP

Battle of the 3 initial names, the two have recently teaming together on NJPW strong but they will have to put their personal friendship to one side as the two face off one on one. The two did have a match against each other for AAW pro, with TJP coming out on top. If that match is anything to go by this should be explosive, technical and high flying.

Rey Horus Vs Blake Christian

Rey Horus has been making his name in the American scene recently first with MLW and now currently as part of the ROH Trio Tag Champions Mexisquad along side Bandido and Flamita. Blake Christian has been a regular on the NJPW Strong weekly show as well as impressing on the American independent scene for the likes of GCW, Beyond, IWA mid-south among others.

Lio Rush Vs El Phantasmo

Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush was recently announced for the MLW return, he has been keeping busy since leaving WWE, competing for GCW and making an appearance for the United Wrestling Network. But can Bullet Clubs El Phantasmo become a two time Super J Cup Winner having won the tournament in 2019, he has been regular fixture as part of the NJPW Strong weekly show.

Ren Narita and Karl Fredericks Vs Kenta and Hikuleo

Between the semi-final to give the competitors time to rest, their will be some incredible tag team action, featuring the return to action for Ren Narita now on excursion at the LA Dojo he will be teaming with LA Dojo graduate Karl Fredericks. The two young competitors will have to be at their best as they take on the Bullet Club team of current IWGP US Title contender Kenta and Bullet Clubs own young gun Hikeulo, who is undefeated on NJPW strong.

With NJPW promising at least one more tag team to be announced the Super J Cup is shaping up to be an exciting night of wrestling. The Super J Cup will be available on NJPW world and as a PPV on Fite TV you won’t want to miss the action.
