Conor McGregor To fight January 23rd At Cowboy Stadium

It appears the wait Is over. The Notorious Conor McGregor has apparently accepted the fight against Dustin Poirier in 2021. McGregor took to Twitter to spread the News,

I accept, Jan 23rd is on!
My goal is to see this fight take place in Cowboy stadium. Proper Style! Jerry Jones is a friend and the stadium can hold our crowd. I will be ready for Texas and Texas will be ready for my fans!

Although it appears he may be the only one to see the fight contract as Dustin Poirier answered, seemingly unknowing of the actual details.

Conor McGregor had previously stated he didn’t want to wait until 2021 to fight and proposed 3 possible dates in 2020. This coming on the heels of Dana White essentially telling Bret Okamoto of ESPN, that’s not how this works.

Will we actually see McGregor and Poirier fight in January… who knows? Until UFC makes it official it’s all just speculation.
