WWE has announced two blockbuster matches for next Friday’s SmackDown. The first match announced sees ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns vs ‘The Monster Among Men’ Braun Strowman for the WWE Universal Championship.
The other match will be an emotional one, as The WWE Universe says goodbye (for now) to The New Day. The popular trio have been separated by The WWE draft, with Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston heading to RAW and Big E staying on the ‘blue brand’ to continue his singles run. The New Day will face the trio Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Sheamus in their “farewell” match, another very interesting trio as the WWE Universe get to see a reunion of another popular former tag team, The Bar – Sheamus and Cesaro.

Next week’s ‘season premiere’ of Smackdown is shaping up to be a huge show, will The New Day be successful in their ‘farewell’ match? And will the ‘Tribal Chief’ slay the monster and hang on to his Universal title?
