NJPW Talent Likely To Remain In Japan Into Next Year

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, many top names were notably absent from NJPW including the likes of KENTA, Jeff Cobb, Will Ospreay, Jay White, Gabriel Kidd and Juice Robinson.

Clearly the wrestlers above, and many others, were forced to stay away from the promotion because of the COVID travel restrictions in place, as they all reside from far outside of Japan.

According to the latest issue of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the majority of the talent are likely to now stay in Japam until after Wrestle Kingdom takes place in January 2021. Some of them will potentially go home after the show in Budokan is over, but they are expected to come back and quarantine in time for the show at the Tokyo Dome.
