Former WWE Superstar Not A Fan Of WWE Drafts

The WWE Draft, first introduced back in 2002, has long been one of the most eagerly anticipated nights in the professional wrestling calendar. The Draft often represents fresh starts for directionless superstars, new challenges on a different brand and usually the end of long tired rivalries.

The Draft almost always brings with it some confusion, baffling decisions and an awful lot of criticism from fans. However, criticism isn’t reserved exclusively for members of the WWE Universe, as proven by former WWE Superstar Shane Helms – aka Hurricane Helms.

Helms, who was a part of the very first WWE Draft in ’02 when he was traded to RAW, took to Twitter during Night 1 of the 2020 WWE Draft to voice his displeasure at the event, despite understanding why WWE feel the need to hold it in the first place.

There’s a lot of things I loved about WWE, the Drafts were never one of them. I understand why they do them but I still didn’t care for them.
