Kofi Kingston recently sat down for an interview with ABC 6 in which he went into a discussion over Roman Reigns and his relationship with Paul Heyman.
The Roman Reigns and Heyman story is by far the most intriguing storyline in WWE. Roman Reigns has been in the middle of heel and face for a long time, and his relationship with Paul Heyman has certified him as a fully fledged heel. Kofi discussed this with ABC 6 news, and made it clear he doesn’t think Roman needs Paul Heyman,
“He is a guy who has all the tools. He’s in movies, he’s ‘The Big Dog’ and the top dog in the yard. Why do you need this parasite Paul Heyman? Why do you need him to further yourself? To me, he was already there. I’m going to talk to him when I get there about what’s going on. Out of all the people in the world, why Paul Heyman? To me, he didn’t need to go that route. It’s interesting because you see people over time develop a new sense of personality and a new persona and it draws you in. I didn’t expect this. I never thought Roman would do this in a million years.”
Kofi Kingston has not been on WWE TV since suffering an injury on July 24th, but with Kofi constantly referencing Roman Reigns in his interview, it could be leading to something more.
