Update On The Return Of WWE Faction

WWE are looking to bring The Forgotten Sons back to TV. According to a report provided by Fightful Select, the creative team has been told to come up with a new plan for the former NXT group.

The group had only recently moved from NXT to Smackdown, and were starting to make an impact, before WWE took them off of TV. They were taken off of Smackdown, because the ‘muscle’ of the group, Jaxson Ryker made some controversial comments on social media. Ryker drew heavy backlash online from fans and his peers in WWE for posting in support of President Donald Trump shortly after police controversially used tear gas, pepper spray bullets, and flash bangs to clear out protestors in Lafeyette Park in Washington DC and Trump then walked across the park for a photo op at a church.

However the tweet that caused the caused the biggest issue with his co workers backstage was a tweet from 2009, where he said that people of color “need to realize how good they have it.”

It is unclear weather Ryker will be involved in the group going forward, but this will certainly be good news for his partners, Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler. All three members have been teasing a return on social media though, so it looks like they are close to making a return.

They have even received advice from the legendary ‘Rated R Superstar’ Edge, and Vince McMahon has order the creative team to come up with ideas for them. So it would appear WWE may have big plans for The Forgotten Sons, will they finally achieve their goal and be ‘Forgotten no more’?
