Bobby Lashley On Tribute To Chadwick Boseman

WWE United States champion Bobby Lashley has commented on The Hurt Business paying a special tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, who recently passed away from cancer at just 43 years old. The CEO of the hurt business, would make the following statement to Sports Illustrated:

“That means positivity, being proud and being powerful. That’s what that movie character was. It put an African American character, a Black character, in a different light as a superhero. I never really had that growing up. We never really had our black Superman, but that’s what he was. It’s a tragic, amazing story. Boseman was battling cancer but creating some of the greatest movies of our time. We felt it was necessary to pay tribute to him, especially at this time.”

Here you can see MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley pat tribute to Boseman.

It was certainly a classy move from The Hurt Business to pay tribute to Chadwick Boseman. Since then the group has expanded, adding Cedric Alexander to their ranks, and they have made a huge impact in WWE lately, even confronting RETRIBUTION on the most recent edition of Monday Night Raw.
