AEW has taken another step on building it’s roster by announcing the signing of Will Hobbs. Hobbs isn’t new to the company, and has appeared both on AEW Dark and in a losing match against Derby Allin on Dynamite.
Hobbs also made an appearance at AEW All Out during the Casino Battle Royal where he eliminated one competitor and made it to the final six before eventual winner, Lance Archer, eliminated him.
Both Hobbs and JR took to Twitter to praise the news of the signing, and Hobbs definitely has a bright future in the company. Hobbs stated,
“Been through hell and back. Dreams do come true. BELIEVE IN #WILLPOWER,” Hobbs wrote on Twitter.
Whilst JR stated,
“High hope for this big man. Congrats @TrueWillieHobbs. Become a star in @AEWrestling”
