Retired UFC star Conor “Notorious” McGregor is back in the headlines again but now how he would have liked.

Conor McGregor was detained in Corsica, France after allegations surfaced from a complaint filed Thursday. The Agence France-Presse was quoted as saying:

A similar statement was offered by the prosecutors office.

A statement from Conor’s spokesmen read as follows.

This isn’t the first time allegations of this nature have come to surface against McGregor. In 2019 The New York Times reported Two separate allegations against Conor from his home county of Ireland , which he vehemently denied.

Conor was in France for a charity bike ride with his fiancé at the time.
