“IRS” Mike Rotunda Released By WWE

In another round of backstage staff and talent being released by WWE, the legend “IRS” Mike Rotunda has been released.

Rotunda was released yesterday (September 20th 2020) in another batch of cut backs by the company. A lot of the legends were originally furloughed back in April, and until recently very few wrestlers had been released. Gerald Brisco also confirmed his release, joining Rotunda and Sarah Stock in this round of releases.

Rotunda is the father of both Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas who continue to stay on the roster as of this writing. Bray’s future is somewhat secure, but I’m not so sure about Bo’s.

Rotunda worked for WWE since 2006 as a producer/WWE agent and held the WWE Tag Team Championship during his tenure with the company.
