Gerald Brisco Responds To Outpour Of Support Following His Release From WWE

WWE released Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco earlier today after 36 years with the company.

Brisco took to twitter this morning and said that last night he received a phone call from Vince McMahon telling him that after 36 years of dedication to WWE that his services were no longer needed.

The wrestling community rallied around Brisco, showing their support and thanking him for all of his years in the business. The outpour was overwhelming, and Brisco commented on the support and positivity that he received from his peers and fans.

Brisco wrote:

“What can I say but Thanks for all the well wishes I received today I’m a positive person I know I have many friends out there that care and it means so much to me all is good I ain’t going away. You all are my heroes thanks”

Brisco stated this morning that this isn’t the end, that he will still be around to help talent if needed.
