CM Punk Urges WWE Superstars To Stay On Twitch

Vince McMahon has put an end to WWE Superstars using third party platforms to promote themselves with the two biggest examples of this being Twitch and Big E’s favourite platform Cameo. At the moment YouTube still seems to be okay and this could well be because they already have a partnership with WWE where they show weekly highlights of RAW, SmackDown and NXT plus much more content.

Former WWE Superstar CM Punk has said that his ex colleagues should ignore the ‘Chairman of the Board’ and stay on Twitch. The ‘Voice of the Voiceless’ even went on to joke that McMahon couldn’t just ‘fire everyone.’

Several top WWE Stars such as former WWE Champion AJ Styles, former 8 time WWE Tag Team Champion Xavier Woods, and the first ever NXT women’s champion Paige use Twitch regularly, and it is well known how active Xavier Woods’ tag team partner Big E is on Cameo.

Many believe that this decision by Vince McMahon is incredibly misguided and unfair. Thousands of wrestling fans have spoken out against it across social media, and even WWE Hall of famers Mick Foley and Kevin Nash have spoken out against their former boss. Former Presidential candidate Andrew Yang also called out McMahon over Twitter.

Maybe the ‘Genetic Jackhammer’ will have to re think this one.
