The Golden Role Models’ WWE Tag Team Championships were on the line tonight at WWE Payback, as they face the newly formed team of Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax.
The match saw a lot of hard hitting and back and forth action. The end came when it looked like Sasha and Bayley had a two on one advantage on Shayna Baszler. Shayna had a leg lock hooked on Sasha, when Bayley charged to break up the hold. But instead, Shayna was able to lock in a choke hold on Bayley at the same time, eventually using Sasha’s arm to help.
Bayley would eventually tap from the hold, making Shayna and Nia the NEW WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
