Update On The Number Of Positive Coronavirus Tests Discovered Within WWE

WWE’s handling of testing for COVID-19 during the coronavirus pandemic has been heavily criticized by many. The company went for months without actually giving tests checking for the virus to employees who had been attending their event tapings. While no fans were allowed entry to the WWE TV tapings, at one point WWE did allow for friends and family to attend a few weeks of their tapings.

Eventually someone within the company did test positive for coronavirus. Once the news got out, WWE made changes and began testing everyone prior to each taping.

Numerous WWE Superstars and Talents have confirmed that they had tested positive for COVID-19, including Renee Young, Kayla Braxton, Jamie Noble, and Adam Pearce. Currently there hasn’t been an active member of the WWE Roster has come forward and publicly revealed any positive tests, but there has been multiple WWE Superstars that have missed several weeks of television leading some to speculate potential positive testing.

On the most recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that he was told that WWE has discovered 37 positive coronavirus tests. He added that the number could have actually gone up since he was told the number of positive tests within the company.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about positive coronavirus tests discovered within WWE or if we hear anything more about who specifically tested positive or COVID-19.
