To the vast majority of fans, MJF walking down a hallway and shoving a security guard would just be a regular d*ck move from AEW’s resident egomaniac. However to those eagle eyed viewers among you, this seemingly innocuous moment was actually a nod back to MJF’s past appearance for the big bad WWE.
One attentive twitter user Casshooole, whom you may know as Bodyslam’s own Cassidy Haynes, was quick to point out that it was a eerily reminiscent of the time that Samoa Joe shoved a security guard on his way to the ring during his time in NXT. Why does this mean anything you ask? Well, the security guard on the day just so happened to be an enhancement talent by the name of… MJF.
