WrestleVotes sent out a tweet just moments ago revealing that next weekends WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event will NOT be held at the WWE Performance Center.
The location for The Biggest Party Of The Summer has been a topic of discussion for many months now, after the COVID-19 pandemic meant WWE had to alter plans for their second biggest pay-per-view event of the year. WWE were said to have been desperately trying to find a new venue for the event and even looked at the possibilities of staging the event at the beach or on a boat.
The tweet reads as follows:
Good news, Bad news:
SummerSlam will not take place in the PC.
However, no fans will be in attendance.
Source still unsure on exact location, as the northeast possibility is now said to be iffy at best
