Exclusive: Update On Excalibur & His Status For Tonight’s AEW TV Tapings

Excalibur was pulled from last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite prior to broadcast despite being in Jacksonville, Florida and prepared to appear on air. This came in wake of old footage of him using the “N-Word” in a promo during a PWG event.

It had been speculated that Excalibur might have received a 30-day suspension similar to the one that Sammy Guevara recently finished, and that looks as though that might indeed be the case.

AEW is holding next weeks TV tapings later today in Jacksonville, while speaking to a source within the company, I asked about Excalibur’s status for tonight’s set of tapings. I was told that Excalibur is still in Jacksonville, but that the belief is that he is in fact out for 30-days.

“I’m not sure. I think he’s out for a month but he’s here, who knows.”

Currently AEW has yet to make an official statement regarding Excalibur and his status with the company. We have reached out to AEW or a comment, but so far have not been given a reply.

AEW is scheduled to record next week’s episodes of Dark and Dynamite later today from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

We will let you know if we hear anything more about Excalibur and his status with AEW.
