WWE are set to reignite the spark that made Bray Wyatt’s “The Fiend” character the hottest thing in the industry… but it’s probably not what you were expecting. The Fiend appeared during the final moments of the Wyatt Swamp Fight at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules, taking down Braun Strowman to close proceedings. WWE’s latest plan is to push The Fiend as a major babyface moving forward.
Ringside News reporrted that “The Fiend is going to be a babyface and kill all other babyfaces again.” This will be the major storyline heading into SummerSlam as Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt are set to collide for a third time at the biggest party of the summer.
Ringside News had originally reported that WWE were making plans for Otis and The Fiend to face one another, but that direction has obviously changed. Bray Wyatt is one of the biggest attraction in the company and will once again be promoted as such.
Though The Fiend may be back, the long term game plan is to create a multiple personality persona for Bray, and WWE seem to be moving closer and closer towards that goal.
