Is There Heat Backstage On Nia Jax After Injuring Kairi Sane?

WWE held the latest set of television tapings on Tuesday. During the filming, Kairi Sane suffered an injury during her match with Nia Jax.

Sane was busted open after taking a bump into the steel ring steps outside the ring. The cut bad enough that the match had to be stopped so that Kairi Sane could be checked by Dr’s, but luckily she was able to continue. The match was then re-started, and the two were able to finish the match. We will have to wait and see exactly how WWE decides to edit this match, and how much of the injury (if any) will be included.

On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about the spot and injury to Kairi Sane.

“Everyone I have talked to have said that no one is blaming Nia Jax. This was not Nia Jax’s fault even though other things have been. Basically, Kairi Sane got whipped into the ring steps. One person said that she may have stumbled, she was trying to take it on her side, she did take it on her side. Her head did hit the steps. One person told me she was in control of her bump and she made it look too good.”

“[Kairi Sane] was trying to avoid her head hitting the steps, her head hit the steps. She was bloodied up. She was knocked silly. She’s okay — now okay doesn’t necessarily mean she doesn’t have a concussion. I don’t know if she does or if she doesn’t, but she’s okay. If she has another concussion you know coming off of the last one it’s not that okay.”

There have been other reports that stated that Kairi Sane was knocked unconscious after taking the spot into the stairs, but that has not yet been confirmed. We will just have to wait and see how WWE decides to edit the injury and match together.
