Rey Fenix Officially Out Of Casino Ladder Match At Double Or Nothing Due To Injury

Rey Fenix is officially out of the Casino Ladder Match at Double Or Nothing.

We previously reported that there was a good chance that Rey Fenix missed tonight’s AEW Double or Nothing PPV after suffering an injury on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT. Well, that is indeed the case as Fenix has officially been removed from the card.

AEW announced Rey Fenix’s replacement for the match last night. “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela is now in the match, officially taking Fenix’s spot. AEW sent out a tweet announcing the news, which read:

“.@ReyFenixMx is out of the #CasinoLadderMatch due to injury. Fenix isn’t expected to miss significant time. @JANELABABY is now entered in the Casino Ladder Match. 1 mystery wrestler is still TBA. DOUBLE or NOTHING is available on all major providers @brlive @FiteTV tomorrow 8/7c”
