WWE Edited Roman Reigns Out Of WrestleMania 31 Footage Featured On This Week’s RAW

WWE’s original plan was for Roman Reigns to face Goldberg at WrestleMania 36 for the Universal Championship. However, Reigns pulled out of WrestleMania 36 due to COVID-19 concerns, and instead was replaced with Braun Strowman.

Roman Reigns hasn’t been seen nor heard from since. It was even reported that Vince McMahon sent down orders that Roman Reigns name be removed from all conversation and will not be mentioned on air. But it now looks as though it’s going a step further, as WWE now is editing Roman Reigns out of video footage as well.

On last night’s episode of WWE RAW a video was featured showing Seth Rollins Money In The Bank cash in back at WrestleMania 31. The match was between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, but then Seth Rollins came out and inserted himself into the match and successfully cashed in his MITB briefcase. But, if you watched the video from that moment on last night’s RAW, you would have barely known that Reigns was even involved in the match as WWE almost completely edited him out of the footage (minus him laying on the mat in the background in one shot).

You can see the footage from last night’s episode of RAW where WWE completely edited Roman Reigns out of the WrestleMania 31 finish below.
