Jim Cornette talks about Vince McMahon’s loyalty

Vince McMahon is the owner of WWE and is a very controversial figure. He is also a very complicated human being, with stories of his generosity, as well as ruthlessness, being a subject of discussion over the years. The company recently let go of over one hundred employees and in this context, many are wondering what McMahon’s thought process is like.

During a recent episode of Jim Cornette’s Drive-Thru, Jim Cornette talked about how Vince McMahon is in real life. McMahon has devoted his life to WWE and there is not much else that he does outside of it.

According to Cornette, McMahon is a person who will send money to help out someone in need, while also firing someone for the company’s benefit. Ultimately, his loyalty to those remains with people who were loyal to his father and not past that.

“Some of him is (cool) and some of him is crazy and some of him is an evil asshole. There’s no way to really describe it except to him, the whole business is business. He will just say, ‘Ok, fine, cut him pal, we need to please the stockholders and make the stock look good so fire these guys.’ Then, he does good things for people. Every once in a while you hear of somebody who needs something and he would send them money or he would help them out. He’s kept a lot of guys that were loyal to his dad. He’s taking care of the guys who were loyal to his dad better than most of the people who have been loyal to him.”

McMahon does what he wants to in the end as he has the last word in everything that goes on in the company. He will do whatever he can if it means it will benefit WWE.
