This year’s WrestleMania 36 was scheduled to take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. However, things changed with the spread of the coronavirus and the regulations set in place as the COVID-19 pandemic affected the entire world.
WWE decided to carry on with the show despite it being against regulations to have a live audience. WrestleMania 36 instead was pre-recorded and held at the WWE Performance Center and aired over two nights. But what about all the fans who purchased tickets?
According to a report from PWInsider, many fans have already received refunds for their WrestleMania 36 ticket purchases.
“We have been told by a number of readers that they woke up this morning to find they had received refunds from Ticketmaster.com for Wrestlemania 36.”
While many fans have yet to receive their refund for WrestleMania tickets that they bought, it is at least a good sign that the first wave of refunds have been sent out. It is not uncommon for refunds like this to be issued in numerous waves until eventually all tickets have been refunded. However, if you didn’t purchase your tickets through ticketmaster and used a third-party ticket vender you will have to deal with that specific broker and their policy.
