Matt Hardy Talks How AEW And WWE Are Different

One of the biggest storylines in AEW is about the Exalted One. Evil Uno of The Dark Order has promised he will be appearing soon and fans have been speculating as to who it could be.

Matt Hardy spoke on the latest audio update of PW Insider Elite, where he was asked about the differences between AEW and WWE. He gave two descriptions of the companies. WWE is quite corporate, while AEW is more open to creative ideas.

“They’re listening to the die-hard voice a lot more strongly than WWE is right now. You kinda get that because WWE is much more corporate and stretching and sprawling company, but like AEW is doing a great job of laying things on the table and you’re not sure what direction they’re gonna go and the Exalted One is another thing for instance.”

“I think AEW is paying attention and listening to the fans and doing the most thing in wrestling, being unpredictaible.”

Hardy says that AEW is doing a good job pleasing both the casual and hardcore pro wrestling fans so far. We will have to see when he debuts in AEW.
