WWE Officially Announces Andrade’s 30-Day Suspension For Violating Company’s Wellness Policy

It was reported last night that WWE United States Champion Andrade has been suspended for 30 days for his first violation of WWE’s Wellness Policy.

WWE issued the following official statement:

“STAMFORD, Conn. — WWE has suspended Andrade (Manuel Oropeza) for 30 days effective immediately for a first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.”

It is not known exactly what Andrade tested positive for that caused his violation of WWE’s Wellness Policy.

WWE wrote Andrade off television last night following his US Title match against Humberto Carrillo. Andrade lost the match via DQ, but remained champion. Following the match Andrade was attacked by Humberto Carrillo, and took a hammerlock DDT outside the ring onto the exposed concrete floor.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything else regarding Andrade’s WWE Status following his 30 day suspension.
