Drew McIntyre Wins The 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble Match

As promised, Brock Lesnar entered the 2020 Royal Rumble as the first entrant. At the number two spot came Elias, who was quickly eliminated by Lesnar, as were the next nine entrants to follow.

As the match progressed Lesnar reached thirteen eliminations, tying Braun Strowman with the most eliminations in a single Royal Rumble match. Eventually Lesnar was eliminated by Drew McIntyre who entered the match in the 16th spot.

The final four competitors left in the match ended up being a returning Edge, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, and Drew McIntyre.

Randy Orton was eliminated by Edge, after the two had seemingly rekindled their old Rated RKO alliance. This led to a staredown which could be setting up a potential match between the two at WrestleMania, as it was reported earlier today that Edge’s appearance wasn’t a “one-off” and that WWE had plans for a match involving him at Mania.

Eventually, both Reigns and Edge ended up on the ring aprun after going over the top rope. The two of them fought back and forth on the aprun until Edge was eliminated by Roman Reigns. After that McIntyre capitalized on the situation and connected with a huge claymore kick to Roman Reigns sending him to the floor, and winning this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble Match.
