The saga of Ring of Honor this year is a long and messy one. At the beginning of the year they were one of the hottest companies in wrestling. Then they lost most of their top stars, angered many fans with how they ran their Madison Square Garden show, also seemingly destroying their partnership with New Japan Pro Wrestling during that show as well. Then they had an incident with a fan being taken backstage because of the way he was talking to female talent at a show, no security was present. Then Joey Mercury quit the company and unloaded a lot of the wrong doings by ROH management.
Kelly Klein, former Women of Honor champion, retweeted what Joey had said and supported his stance against the company. As you can see Kelly’s pinned tweet is something Joey said.
Today Joey sent out a tweet of an email Kelly got from Joe Koff, ROH’s COO, that lets her know they will not renew her contract or continue negotiating a new one.
