Tony Khan Said To Have Left Tony Schiavone’s Birthday Event Early After Joke About Him Was Made
Starrcast IV kicked off with a special birthday party for Tony Schiavone at Jimmy’s Famous Seafood in Baltimore, Maryland.
The event was loaded with special guests from Tony’s past, and present. One of those guests was AEW President and Owner Tony Khan, however it he apparently dipped out once some jokes were fired away in his direction.
On a recent episode of the 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff talked about Tony Schiavone’s birthday party and roast at Starrcast. Bischoff told a story about how Tony Khan left abruptly during the event.
“Right at the very beginning of this thing, everybody’s seated. Mark Madden opens up and he goes, “Hey, look over there! Tony Khan the money mark! How many executive vice presidents do you have in your company anyway?” Evidently Tony took exception to that and got up and left. So I could have, I guess, had an opportunity to meet Tony Khan. But Mark Madden f*cked it up for me…and by me telling this story I probably just f*cked it up for myself, but whatever.”
This wasn’t the only story that came out of Tony’s birthday party involving Tony Khan, as there was also a fight that broke out between Excalibur and Jimmy Havoc that took place in front of him as well.
