Tyson Fury Among Group Of 22 To Get Out Of Saudi Arabia Before WWE Flights Grounded

As we have been covering over the last few days, there was a situation that went down in Saudi Arabia where nearly 200 WWE Superstars and Employees were kept within the country and held against their will in what many felt was a type of “power play”.

We previously reported that Vince McMahon was one of the 22 employees who were able to get out of the country before the Crown Prince shut down their flights back. In addition to Vince McMahon, it was reported that Hulk Hogan, Jimmy Hart, Ric Flair, Brock Lesnar, and Paul Heyman were also part of the group of 22 to get out. There were many within WWE who felt as though they were deserted by Vince, after being held until Prince Muhammad bin Salman could “figure out what to do with them.”

On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Vince being the first out of the country and how this upset many of people within the company. He also revealed that Tyson Fury was also part of the group of 22 who were able to get out of Saudi Arabia before the Prince ordered the other flights to be grounded.

“Obviously there’s a lot of people who are very, very upset that Vince got out and you know Vince left with Vince and Kevin Dunn and Vince’s staff left immediately. They got out on their own private jet. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman got out on their private yet. Hogan and Flair and Jimmy Hart got out on their private jet.”

“I think Tyson Fury may have been on one of those jets. I know he was not on the Lesnar jet. I don’t know if he was on the Flair jet, but the people again, there’s so many different people — the boxer left.”

We will continue to keep you updated as more information about the incident in Saudi Arabia becomes known.
