After Recent Situation In Saudi Arabia Some WWE Superstars “Can’t Wait To Get Out Of Company”

There was a very scary situation that went down in Saudi Arabia last week, where nearly 200 WWE Superstars and Employees were held against their will in the country as what many felt was a type of “power play” by the Saudi Government.

As we previously reported, many WWE Superstars have stated that they “will never go back to the country again.” There are many within the company who felt like they were deserted by Vince McMahon after he was amongst the 22 people who got out of the country before the Crown Prince ordered the planes to remain grounded.

On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer went into more detail on the entire situation that went down in Saudi Arabia. He added that not only has he also heard that many WWE Superstars have stated that they will never go back to Saudi Arabia, but that there are many who also “can’t wait to get out of the company.”

“I’ve had people say they’re never going back. I’ve had people say they can’t wait to get out of the company. I don’t know if that’s going to be, you know, I don’t know in a few months if they’re going to change their minds if something’s going to happen at Raw when all of the Raw talent is there and there’s going to be a thing that someone says to management about what has happened.”

“I know that obviously they’re trying to get the talent to go on and say that it was a mechanical failure. You know, whatever. It’s like there’s so many things that happened, but they were definitely not paid as of September 30th. There was definitely $60 million that came before 8:00 in the morning on October 31st which was a couple hours before the show started.”
