80’s Wrestling Con 2: Returns Bigger And Better Than Ever

Freehold, NJHigh Spot Podcast covered 80’s Wrestling Con 2 at iPLAY America for Bodyslam.net this morning and the early feedback on social media has already tabbed the event an absolute success, leaving many in attendance wondering if there will be a 80’s Wrestling Con 3.

Wrestling fans flocked the iPLAY Events Center early this morning to meet and greet several of their 80’s wrestling idols they grew up watching when they were kids, legends that helped paved the road for the new generation of sports entertainers today. “There’d be no WWE, WCW, or even an AEW without the hard work of the stars that we came to pay tribute to today” said a fan that came to get his classic WWF Tag Team Title Belt signed by Axe and Smash of Demolition.

Tommy Fierro, the man behind 80’s Wrestling Con, ran another great event providing a tremendous family atmosphere and vibe throughout the entire day’s festivities. Besides meeting their favorite wrestling legends, like the “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase, Sgt. Slaughter, Bob Backlund, Haku, Demolition, Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake, fans were able to visit several vendor tables and purchase wrestling action figures, memorabilia, and apparel. Vendors like Nerds Clothing, Santiago Sports, & LJN Figures, were all on hand.

Another great event featured was the 80’s Wrestling Con 2 Halloween Contest hosted by the “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase. Several fans participated by dressing up as their favorite wrestling legends, from “Macho Man” Randy Savage to Sgt. Slaughter to the Iron Shiek, it was very hard to pick a clear cut winner. That’s how great and creative fans were with these costumes.

Tommy promised one of the most fan interactive events to date and he absolutely delivered! How is this man isn’t working of the WWE? It’s absolutely mind boggling! Tommy has a knack of knowing what the fan’s wants and in today’s day in age that’s the most important trait to have in any type of business, especially when it comes to promoting large events like these. The fans called for another 80’s Wrestling Con and Tommy absolutely delivered another one, that was even bigger and even better!
