It seems just yesterday that we had the Superstar Shakeup. This years Shakeup lasted almost a month and ended with a wild card rule that made the previous month all for naught.
Well folks. WWE.com just announced that another draft will be happening next month. Which means that the brand split will be as hard lined as ever. Which should be a good thing for the middle of the card because a lot of talent has been forgotten during this “wild card” era.
The destinies of WWE Superstars will be determined during a two-night WWE Draft taking place live on Friday Night SmackDown on Oct. 11 on FOX and Raw on Oct. 14 on USA Network.
On both nights of the Draft, Superstars from Raw and SmackDown will appear along with personalities from FOX and NBCUniversal programming to announce select picks that will determine the rosters of each distinct brand.
What’s most intriguing is that “personalities from Fox and NBCUniversal” will be announcing picks. This slightly harkens back to the celebrity guest host days of Raw, where it was fun to see who follows the product and who doesn’t.
No word yet if NXT gets to take people to their brand or if they will just be pillaged once more.
October is shaping up to be the most eventful month in all of wrestling’s history.
