BritWres Promotor Tries To Gain Women’s Wrestlers Personal Phone Numbers And Poorly Responds To Critics

If you don’t follow the BritWres scene, you might not be aware of the drama that has happened over the past week.

Broken Ring Wrestling is a promotion that is rather small in comparison to most wrestling promotions in the U.K. But they seem to have caused big problems.

The promoter has been accused of asking women wrestlers for their personal phone numbers “in case of emergency”. The promoter has stated that he has also asked the men for their personal phone numbers as well.

After receiving backlash for the phone number problem, the promoter started responding to fans by saying that talking to them has given him cancer. He also said that he doesn’t see how men pose a threat to women, along with a multitude of other things. Below will be a plethora of screen shots and tweets cataloging the incident.

After a few hours of tweeting, BRW drummed up enough dust to have BritWres wrestler Spike Trivet contacted the people involved with the venue and they issued a response.

The promoter then tried to show screen shots of the conversation he had with a talent, but it doesn’t seem to have done any good.
