BritWres Referee May Have To Retire Due To Unscripted Attack After Match

Last Saturday was a huge day for wrestling. AEW held All Out, NXT UK held Takeover Cardiff and NJPW in conjunction with RevPro held Royal Quest. It seemed like a great day and week for talent and fans.

One particular talent did not have a great time. That talent is referee Aaren Wilde. In a match between Aussie Open vs. Sha Samuels and Josh Bodom, one of the Wrestlers didn’t get his shoulder up when he was supposed to, and the referee did what any good referee should do, he continued to count. The correct winners still won the match, just earlier than expected. Sha and Josh seemed to be angered by the early finish and performed wrestling moves on the referee without prior consent. This resulted in what could be a career ending injury for Aaren Wilde.

Aaren took to Twitter to give an official statement.
