Ricochet hasn’t been away from NXT for longer than less than a year but his talent has allowed him to emerge and become a household name among many fans.
Paul Heyman also sees the talent in Ricochet as well and Heyman has picked the former United States Champion as one of his guys. Ricochet recently spoke to Sports Illustrated regarding how cool it is to be a Paul Heyman guy.
Before I even came to Raw, Paul was always good to me. Our interactions and talks were always great, and I think he sees my passion for professional wrestling. I’m a fan of his. If I’m on his good side, I want to stay there. My goal is to get better every single week and do everything I can to the best of my abilities.
Ricochet may not be a Paul Heyman guy on air similar to Brock Lesnar but backstage he is, which is very important due to the fact that Heyman is Raw’s Executive Director.
