Big Show To Star In Scripted Show On Netflix – Plays In Dungeons And Dragons Celebrity Group

WWE and Netflix have partnered up again to create a scripted show surrounding The Big Show’s home life.

As per WWE

Netflix today announced “The Big Show Show,” a half-hour, multi-cam comedy series starring WWE Superstar Big Show. Production on the 10-episode series begins in Los Angeles on Friday, Aug. 9.

Alongside Big Show (Paul Wight), the series stars Allison Munn (“Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn”), Reylynn Caster (“American Housewife”), Juliet Donenfeld (“Pete the Cat”) and Lily Brooks O’Briant (“The Tick”).
According to Netflix, “The Big Show Show” focuses on the following premise: “When the teenage daughter of Big Show, a retired world-famous WWE Superstar, comes to live with him, his wife and two other daughters, he quickly becomes outnumbered and outsmarted. Despite being 7 feet tall and weighing 400 pounds, he is no longer the center of attention.”

“The Big Show Show” is Netflix’s latest project with WWE Studios, following the recent announcementof the family film “The Main Event.”

On top of that, recent pictures and information on a celebrity Dungeons and Dragons group.

The group seems to consist of Joe Manganiello, Tom Morello, Vince Vaughn and other Hollywood types.

Manganelio was interviewed by ET Canada about the group.

Manganiello, 41, told SiriusXM’s “EW Morning Live” all about his D&D campaign mates, which include famous movie directors, actresses, comedians, and even a WWE superstar.

“The Big Show from WWE started playing again and he got hooked,” the actor revealed, noting how the seven-foot-tall, 350-plus-pound athlete plays the role of an elf. “Deborah Ann Woll, who was on ‘True Blood’, she has been a Dungeon Master for years.” (A Dungeon Master (DM) is responsible for crafting a narrative and leading players through an evolving fictional story.)
“Brad Peyton, who directed me in ‘Rampage’, Taran Killam from ‘SNL’, he’s hooked,” Manganiello continued. “James Gunn, the list goes on and on and on.”

One celeb who is definitely not a D&D fan is his wife Sofia Vergara: “I’ll start talking about Dungeons & Dragons and she’ll say, ‘Do you want me to go in my closet and get a tray of my earrings and come out and talk to you about my earrings for the next half hour?”

Even though Show has been off of WWE Television lately, it seems he is living his best life.
