Yesterday news broke that former WWE tag team champion Jeff Hardy was arrested for public intoxication.
Hardy is currently injured and has taken time off from his WWE schedule. Jeff has a history of running into the law when under the influence of drugs or alcohol. After numerous news outlets reached out to WWE, the company released a statement regarding Jeff.

Jeff is in the twilight of his career, as well as his brother Matt, who has been teasing retirement this year. Hopefully this was a one time mistake for Jeff and he continues the path he was on prior to this incident. Jeff’s known issues were part of a WWE special and in the end he overcame his demons. We can only hope Jeff is able to rebound back once again.
