Update On Aerostar’s Health After Scary Botched Dive Over The Weekend

Popular Lucha Libre Talent Aerostar was involved in a scary incident over the weekend at AAA’s Verano De Escandalo event in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.

Aerostar attempted a risky highspot during his match, the spot saw him climb up the lighting rig around the ring and dive off onto his opponents on the floor below. However, something went wrong and Aerostar over shot his dive and almost missed his opponents completely. The fall resulted in a really scary botch which saw Aerostar land awkwardly on his head on the floor after landing legs first onto the shoulders of his opponent.

On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez reported that Aerostaro suffered a concussion from the spot, but that he will be fine.

You can see AAA Lucha Libre’s tweet highlighting the scary fall that Aerostar suffered during his match over the weekend, below.

In an update, Bryan Alvarez also tweeted yesterday that Aerostar was seen at the airport wearing a neckbrace, and that he was seen the night before having fun at the hotel, laughing about his fall.

Bryan Alvarez tweeted:

“For what it’s worth, Aerostar was having fun at the hotel last night, laughing about his fall, but he was in an neckbrace at airport today.”
