WWE Changed Up Creative Plans For Super ShowDown Without Informing People Within The Company

WWE will be holding their upcoming Super ShowDown event from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on June 7th.

Although Brock Lesnar is being advertised for the event, he currently does not have a match taking place at Super ShowDown, but that appears to have not always been the case.

On the latest episode of the “Oh, You Didn’t Know” podcast, Brad Shepard reports that WWE changed their creative direction for WWE’s Super ShowDown event without informing everyone within the company about their change of plans.

Shepard said:

“So as we know now the match is set to be Seth Rollins vs Baron Corbin at Super ShowDown in Jeddah, but I can confirm that internally sources in WWE were told the match would be Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins.”

“I’m not sure what happened when it comes to Baron getting the title shot, but Brock Lesnar is on the promotional stuff along with Goldberg, Taker, etc. He’s obviously going to be in the mix and be part of the show. How that could happen besides cashing in I’m not sure.”

“So yeah, I just found that interesting so there was a change in creative plans from Brock vs Seth to Baron vs Seth. That will be interesting to watch how that transpires at Super ShowDown.”
