Jon Moxley Considered To Be Part Of AEW’s “Big Five”

AEW made a big impact last night with Double Or Nothing, and made a huge move with the debut and signing of Jon Moxley.

The former WWE Superstar has been the talk of the wrestling world over the last few months as his public end of his WWE career came to an conclusion recently and now with his debut and attack on Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley is once again the buzz of the entire wrestling world.

Jon Moxley’s role, and plan for AEW was discussed earlier today by Dave Meltzer on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio. He talks about their announcement of his multi-year deal, and mentions that he has been brought into the company not to play the part of a part-timer but to be one of the “big five” along with the members of “The Elite”.

“He’s basically going to be a weekly television character so it’s not like he’s going to be doing a few shows a year [for AEW]. He’s weekly part of their thing and right in the mix. They pretty much established to me when the show was over in the singles division it’s Cody, Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, and Jon Moxley and Adam Page are gonna be the big five and if Pac comes back he may end up close to that.”

This shouldn’t come as a shock to most, as many have viewed Moxley as being one of the premiere wrestlers in the world. So we should expect Moxley to be one of the key pieces that the company will be building their upcoming weekly TV program around which debuts in October of this year.

We will keep you posted if we hear anything more Jon Moxley news, rumors, or updates.
