Alexa Bliss’s Replacement for Sunday’s Money in the Bank Match Announced

While the WWE might draw things out from time to time, it seems as if the replacement for Alexa Bliss this Sunday will not be drawn out. Earlier today bodyslam.net had announced the news that Bliss was not medically cleared to be in this Sunday’s Women’s Money in the Bank Match and that there had been no news as to who would replace her. Later today, WWE announced that they have decided, and Nikki Cross will be the one to take Bliss’s spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank Match. Cross will now face Natalya, Dana Brooke, Naomi, Bayley, Mandy Rose, Ember Moon, and Carmella in the biggest women’s ladder match of the year.

This decision has made fans very happy to see Nikki Cross in this match and it is always a good thing when the fans are happy. It is interesting that WWE chose Cross to take Bliss’s spot however, seeing as how the two of them have recently developed a newfound partnership. This has led to a lot of fans speculating what might happen should Cross be the winner of the Money in the Bank match. Some have speculated that Cross might not actually keep the case for herself and should she win, would hand it over to Alexa Bliss to keep. This is something that has never been done before in the WWE and could be very interesting to see come to pass. Whatever ends up happening though, it sounds like a match that will keep myself, and other fans as well, glued to their seats on Sunday night.
