Dixie Carter In Connecticut Possibly Filming For WWE

Over the last few years there has been an influx of former TNA talent that has been signed by WWE and utilized in various different types of capacities from on air performers, to behind the scenes roles.

Former TNA owner Dixie Carter has previously appeared in WWE programming when she was part of a recent Kurt Angle special, and it looks like she might be popping up again in some way only this time in association with her “nephew” EC3.

During his first WWE run he was known as Derrick Bateman, however he never found success and was released from his developmental contract. Upon debuting in TNA the former Bateman was known going by the name Ethan Carter III, or as we know him now EC3, the spoiled rich upperclass nephew of TNA owner Dixie Carter. EC3 found a ton of success in TNA and on the indies under his new gimmick and once signing with WWE NXT they decided to keep the name somewhat, except they dropped the first and last name and ties to TNA, rolling with the nickname instead.

Recently the former owner of TNA, Dixie Carter posted a few photos to her official instagram account from Stamford, Connecticut. If you aren’t aware, this just so happens to be where WWE Headquarters is. One of the photos showed Dixie in what appeared to be a production set supporting her nephew EC3 and one with the caption “a fun day filming TV.”

It will be interesting to see if what comes from these teases that Dixie dropped on instagram, which you can see below.
