WWE Reportedly Considering “Shocking” Money In The Bank Moment For Becky Lynch

The main event of this year’s WrestleMania 35 event saw Becky Lynch close out the historic night as both the WWE RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Double the belts means double the duty, as Becky 2 Belts is scheduled to defend both titles at the upcoming Money in the Bank PPV. Charlotte Flair will challenge Lynch for the SDLive Women’s Title, while the newly promoted Lacey Evans is set to face Becky for the RAW Women’s Championship.

According to a new report from Brad Shepard on the latest episode of the “Oh, You Didn’t Know” podcast it sounds like WWE is considering a huge and “shocking” moment for The Man at Money in the Bank. It was stated that Vince McMahon is currently very high on Lacey Evans and that they are strongly considering having Lacey Evans go over and defeat Lynch at the MITB PPV on May 19th.

Regarding Becky Lynch’s title defenses at Money in the Bank, Shepard stated:

“I was told WWE is strongly considering having Lacey Evans defeat Becky Lynch at Money In The Bank. Vince McMahon is very high on Evans and thinks it would be a ‘shocking moment’ if she won.”

It had been previously reported prior to her main roster call-up that Vince McMahon was said to be extremely high on Lacey Evans, and was said to have even compared her to Roman Reigns in regards to how she is viewed by Vince as being one of the company’s potential top Superstars.

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out, as it had been stated before that once Lynch’s reign as both RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion concluded that she would be placed on RAW as part of their roster.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about potential Money In The Bank spoilers, or plans for Becky Lynch as they become known.
