WWE will once again be returning to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as the company will hold an event on June 7th, 2019 from the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Like WWE’s previous events in Saudi Arabia the upcoming event next month is slated to feature some huge names in the industry, and a couple Superstars that rarely make appearances for the company.
WWE has officially announced their return to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on June 7th, and in the process revealed some huge names that are scheduled to appear on the card such as, The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, and WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg.
WWE’s official announcement regarding their return to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia next month reads:
“The Saudi General Sports Authority, in partnership with WWE, will host an event at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, June 7, at 8 p.m. AST. The event will feature WWE Superstars Roman Reigns, Undertaker, Kofi Kingston, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, Goldberg, AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar, and stream live on WWE Network.
Additional details on the event’s matches, ticket availability and pricing, and regional broadcast information will be announced in the coming weeks.”
It has been awhile since we have seen Goldberg in a WWE ring, and at the moment it is unclear as to what exactly his role will be at the event. It is also interesting to note that Roman Reigns was announced as being a participant on the upcoming Saudi Arabia event, after he had previously informed WWE that he did not wish to be a part of last year’s Crown Jewel event prior to him having to take medical leave while battling leukemia.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more concerning Goldberg’s role at next month’s WWE Saudi Arabia event.
