Rumor: AEW Paying To Be On Television

All Elite Wrestling’s first few wrestling events are on the horizon. Fight For The Fallen, Fyter Fest and Double or Nothing are all on the docket before October.

October is a big month because that’s supposedly when AEW will start their weekly television show. That show is rumored to be called Tuesday Night Dynamite.

Lots of speculation has been thrown about AEW’s television distribution. News broke earlier this month that Warner Media is the company in talks of airing AEW’s television program.

Dave Meltzer has repeatedly said that multiple networks are in take with AEW as well.

411mania released some news today about AEW and how they got a deal with TNT and Warner Media. h

“My understanding based on the people I’ve spoken to is that it would be more #AEW paying for its time on TNT than Turner paying AEW for its show.” – @TonyMaglio tells 411 Wrestling in an exclusive interview about the wrestling TV landscape

Once that news broke. Dave Meltzer went on his message board that you need to pay to be apart of. Dave has refuted much of the 411 article.

Dave has been very vocal about his support or AEW and seems to know more than most when it comes to the company. Neither AEW or Warner has commented on the matter.
